Training Calendar

Those who need the accreditation to work on the oil company sites need to attend the WPCG Issuer Course (when you register choose the “Issuer” profile).

We also offer for those people that meet the requirements (click here) the WPCG Issuer/Trainer Course. In this case the individual attends the issuer component of the course, and then stays for an additional hour for the trainer component. Note that we do not train you to be trainers – it is a prerequisite that you already hold the necessary skills.

Your accreditation is valid for 2 years. You can become re-accredited by completing the online refresher course for $AU77+GST.

WPCG Issuer Course: 08:30 – 14:00

(Cost $AU495)

The Issuer course covers the roles and responsibilities of the WPCG Issuer. Once you attend the course and complete the online assessment you attain the accreditation to be able to self issue the WPCG form which enables you to conduct work on the oil companies sites.

To register for this training course, simply head to the Login or Register page to create an account. Choose the “Issuer” option on your profile and within 2 hours you will receive an email with your Unique ID. You can use this Unique ID and your password to log into your account to book your course. Simply select the My Training menu option on your User Profile.

Registration at 8:15 for an 8:30 start.

WPCG Issuer/Trainer Course: 08:30 – 15:00

(Cost $AU528)

*** The company trainer methodology is currently under review and therefore the acceptance of applications is on hold until that review is complete. ***

If you are approved to be a company trainer you attend the Issuer course, and then attend the trainer component of the course. In this component we review the basic principles of learning and discuss the additional responsibilities of the WPCG Company Trainer (including how to rollout the WPCG program in your workplace). You will also be required to conduct a small presentation on the day.

Note that company trainers are only permitted to train those within their own organisation. They are not permitted to train sub-contractors unless all of the following guidelines are met (click here).

You can book this course by creating an account using the Login or Register page and choosing the “Company Trainer” option. You must be able to prove that you are an effective trainer and you have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working on oil company facilities. As part of your application, you must attach supporting evidence. Click here to view requirements. After your application is approved, you will be able to book your chosen course using the My Training menu option after logging into your account.
